Lusitanos are baroque-style horses that love to show off, so are perfect for dressage. They originate from Portugal, the name Lusitano even originates from ‘Lusitania’, the old Latin name for Portugal.
Lusitano horses have a life expectancy of 30 years and are nimble. They’re warm-blooded horses that can weigh up to 500 kg.
